Denkpartner
Hans-Jörg Limbach is represented only with a sculpture in Stuttgart, but with one that is known beyond the city limits. The "thinking partner" has become one of the city's most important landmarks in Stuttgart.
The bronze sculpture was made in 1980. It has a weight of approx. 800kg, with a size of 2,70m x 2,20m x 1,25m.
Originally it was put up on the Little Schlossplatz. Through vandalism in April 1983 massively damaged on the head, the artist has let them back home.
Thanks to a private donation, she was able to be renovated in 1984 and returned to Stuttgart. This time she was put up at Rotebühlplatz.
A few years later, the sculpture was moved once more, to its current location, the stock exchange.
