The ship is one of the last big vessels built of oak and in traditional design, at the shipyard J.-Ring Andersen in Svendborg. Her first name was "Mona".
Owned by A.E. Sørensen in 1953-64 and renamed "Svendborg".
Renamed to "Activ" in 1968 with home port in London and restored between 1977-80 in Troense by Michael Kiersgaard
