Kong Haakons Kirken
King Haakon Church - the Norwegian Seamen's Church in Copenhagen (The Norwegian Church Abroad). The church was a gift from the Norwegian people to King Haakon VII, and was inaugurated in 1958. The funds for the church was gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the king's inauguration as king of Norway in 1905. The foundation was established by Crown Prince Olav, the architect Carl Corwin.
