Malmö Rådhus (City Hall) was built in 1546 on the Storetorget, that was at that time the largest city square of Scandinavia. Originally the building was built in the late Gothic style but unfortunately the beautiful construction was damaged, and in 1860, its entire facade was redecorated in the Dutch Renaissance style.
