Ekko is a work of art made of wood
Tree trunks forming inside a roomy shape that seems in constant rotation for as long as the viewer moves. If you stop moving the room's quirky form will challenges your balance.
Outside, in the appropriate distance, Ekko looks as a never-ending undulating movement, a pulsation that never stops.
EKKO offers an exceptional walk and sound experience. EKKO is a 60-meter long corridor built out of 199 logs, which are placed in a slightly offset manner, so the whole construction turns 360 degrees from the entering point to the exit point.
While you are walking inside the work of art, you will experience a special and distinct sound, as voices and footsteps are registered though integrated microphones and reproduced in a different form through the logs – as a twisted EKKO. In this way, EKKO incorporates the audience in the work of art.
