The Sun is caught in the open windows in the church tower of Christian's Church at Christianshavn.
Christian's Church is a magnificent Rococo Church built in 1754-1759 and designed by Nicolai Eigtved.
The church was originally built by the German community for the many Germans living at Christianshavn and served this purpose until the end of the 19th century. Today it is a regular parish church. Its name is a reference to King Christian IV. who founded the Christianshavn district in 1611.
